# Riffs

Turn a one-line market view into a live, agent-managed portfolio.

Riffs turns a one-line market view into a live, agent-managed portfolio. A user types what they believe ("AI eats software") or forks a riff someone else runs. Our agents build the basket, open a dedicated self-custody MPC wallet for it, and trade it 24/7 across stocks, crypto, commodities and prediction markets, routing every order to the cheapest, deepest venue.

## System at a glance

Riffs has seven layers, from the surface where a user types a riff down to the venues that fill the orders.

Models propose trades; the policy layer and the wallet policies decide what can execute.

## Life of a riff

Every riff follows the same seven steps, and each step leaves a record the user can see.

1. **Riff.** The user writes a view in plain English or forks an existing riff. Air guitar mode runs the same flow with practice money.
2. **Compile.** The riff engine turns the view into a basket: candidate assets across asset classes, filtered for liquidity and tradability, weighted with per-name caps. Short legs are added where a perp market exists.
3. **Review.** The user sees the basket and the agent's reasoning, then sets the amount, stop-loss, take-profit ladder and risk level.
4. **Fund.** A dedicated self-custody Privy MPC wallet is created for the riff and funded with USDC, or the user connects their own Robinhood or Coinbase account.
5. **Trade.** Agents watch signals around the clock, route each order to the best venue, and bridge funds when the best venue sits on another chain.
6. **Rebalance and take profit.** The agent rebalances when weights drift and sells into the user's profit targets, for example 5%, 15%, 25% and 50%.
7. **Exit.** The user can pull out anytime. Positions close and USDC returns to the user's wallet.
